The Melanin 360 Podcast was created to make a little space for us to let our afros, braids, weaves, locs - or whatever you're rockin' - down and just have some good ol fashioned fun, and learn a little something in the process with some amazing guests that I respect and admire. I promise to cut to the chase and give you this podcast straight with not a lot of chaser.

Have you ever stopped to think about what role you play in your own biopic? Do you have the rights to your story? Are you taking charge of the direction and casting so that your movie turns out in a way that makes you happy? Or are you sitting on the sidelines, watching others direct the narrative and take over the show and your movie winds up going straight to Tubi? (shade, but no shade!)
This week I talk about what it looks like to be intentional about who we let into our lives and how it's critical that we assign them their roles - this include our role as well. And I thought the movie analogy was the perfect way to do it!
